Girls Getaway

Lane, momma, and I enjoyed a girls trip to Chicago to visit Baby R last weekend. We did mostly girl stuff, shopping on Michigan Avenue, the American girl store twice, lunch at the American Girl Cafe, and the Chicago Children's Museum (which by the way puts the Memphis one to shame!!). J and I went to see D. Rose and the Bulls play at the United Center (and we even got on TV with my sign!) Lane enjoyed baby R so much, she entertained her every minute she was with her. When we started to the airport, her eyes filled with tears and I told her we needed to go home because Bo missed her so much, and she said, "Yeah, but I miss R already!" When I talked to Bo on the phone on Friday, I said, "Bo, I love you so much and I miss you" and he said, "I love you too, but I just miss Lane", and Rob said he teared up. Rob says he was lost without Lane, which I should have know he would be. That is all he knows is running around with her all day. (And I can empathize because I don't like to be by myself either). Now, Rob and Lane are much more independent and don't need us quite so much! Yes, I felt really guilty about leaving my boys behind, but sounds like they had some fun too! Rob and Bo went to see Monsters Vs. Aliens and to two easter eggs hunts and stayed up watching tv till about midnight every night (Bo was so sleep deprived by the time I got home, he was nearly crazy!!)

The Water Room at the Museum

Samantha got a new dress and her hair done!

D. Rose actually looked up in the stands at me when I called his name in warm ups! We sat on the 8th Row...awesome seats!

The botoom of the sign says" and we Love Coach Pastner too!"
The back of the sign said, " I'll come to Chicago for D. Rose, but
I won't go to Lexington!"

R liked Samantha's tea cup!

Looks like you had lots of fun. I haven't been anywhere in so long, I feel like I've forgotten what it's like to travel.
