Thank you God.....

for these three, who make me a momma!

I have had the BEST Mother's Day today! My husband let me sleep late while he and the kids made delicious apple bran muffins (which I told him were the best thing he has ever cooked in 10 years of marriage...yes, it was a boxed mix, but they were perfect)....we had breakfast and I opened gift ...lots of "handmade cards and goodies" from my two crafty kids along with a bracelet, necklace, and earings that they picked out at Pebbles themselves (with their Ellie) and beautiful bracelet with my kids names engraved from Rob, lunch at mom's (fabulous) and to top it off I started back running today....it felt great! We still have not gone back to church yet...maybe next week....and it felt so strange not to be in church on mother's day....but I
have been thankful to God all day for the blessing of my family! I also have thought about others who may be sad today because of lost loved ones and they have been in my prayers too.

We went to the Botanic Gardens on Saturday (it was something good to do outside, since we really aren't getting Kate out much yet)...beautiful day...and that "My Big Backyard" is fabulous! We had a picnic lunch and let the kids play and walked the gardens for a while.....that was really what I asked for Mother's day...and Rob was great to take us! I made tons of pictures, but I didn't post them all because I am sick of waiting on them to download....
