Lane-isms

While I was gone to a meeting last night, Lane asked Rob for some pears (from a can). He fixed them for her and she ate them all. Then Bo said he wanted some, so Lane went into the pantry and couldn't find anymore pears. So, she came out with a can of fruit cocktail in her hand, and said, "well, Bo you can have some fruit cottontail!"



She calls root beer "Groot beer."

And if she says these things in front of you, I wouldn't try to argue with her about the correct way to say them....I promise you won't win the argument! She will give you a look as if you are crazy and eventually stop arguing with you because she is certain that she is not going to be able to convince you that you are wrong. Oh, so like her daddy!!

Water Days!

We made several trips this summer to the Ripley Waterpark, and I will have to say it was probably some of our best summer days! We took a sack lunch and ate in the grass, and we always went with friends, so Lane and Bo had entertainment. They would absolutely wear themselves out and they couldn't stay awake to even get out of the parking lot! We did have a mishap the last day we went, and a really big man came down the waterslide after Lane and ran over her! She was so tough! Also, the lifeguard jumped in to save her one day, because her swimming skills look a little like she is drowning at times (no, I wasn't laying out in a chair somewhere, I was right there watching the girl jump in)!
