New cousins! Matt and Kate 10.6.12, Anna and Jeff 4.13.13

We added to amazing cousins to our family this year.  Bre and Marty had two of there three children get married in the last year- we are so excited to have Kate and Jeff as part of the family now.  Matt and Kate we wed at Waterworks in Midtown- such a cool venue!  I don't have a lot of pics because I left my camera at home, so just had a few phone pics!  Anna and Jeff were married this spring at The Brooks Museum of Art in Midtown, and Lane was a bridesmaid.  She loved every minute- from the grown up "dressing shirt" to the bridesmaid luncheon, to sitting beside the bride and groom at the rehearsal, so that sassy little dress she wore!  It was a beautiful wedding and a great night.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day Celebrations were lots of fun this year- we did things a little out of the box!  On Saturday, we wen to Mud Island and had lunch at Harbor town with mom.  It was a beautiful day to let the kids wade in the water.  

Then on Sunday, we met the Dawson clan in midtown for lunch- I had some great scallops.  

Thankful for our mothers (grandmothers) and the impact they have had on our lives.

For momma! Kate just taped herself to the patio furniture and came to the door asking for help....aaaaaahhhhh, this kid is something else!

An only boy ......

Who loves the game of baseball! This kid has his own games in the backyard (throw the ball up and hit it, run the bases, and retrieve the ball, all while keeping score. It's ALWAYS the Braves vs. somebody. This is the cutest part- the scoresheet where he keeps up with everyone's at bats. I asked him why it doesn't say 0 for 1 , or 1 for 3....,etc- he said "I only write down ever other at bat because it takes up too much paper when I try to write down all the at bats." gotta LOVE. HIM.

Thanks for initiating my walk with Christ by being my example of a church going mamma, for showing me unconditional love, for putting us first, for taking good care of Chad (for nearly 40 years), for loving daddy (for better and worse), for helping me raise my children, and for instilling in me a sense of the importance of family.
We had a great afternoon today spending time together- went to Harbor town for lunch and then enjoyed Mud Island River walk for a while.  Couldn't have asked for a a better day:)
